About the poet: Hayim Abramson has a Ph.D. in Sociology and holds a master’s degree in Jewish Thought. A prolific writer, Hayim published his first book of poetry in Hebrew. It deals with the hope of the soul that feels and is connected to life and holiness .
Born in Chile, he lived in the United States and eventually emigrated to Israel with his family. He moved from his job teaching in college in New York to found, with a group of academic immigrants, a new settlement with work at the chicken coops and vineyards .
He has been residing in Bet El for many years. He has also taught Judaism and Spanish as a second language . His writing is based on traditional Jewish sources, and the desire to continue a path of spiritual growth.
